RUSSIA
According to the report by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the volume of sugar production fell by 16.2% in January-September 2016 compared to 2015 season. The physical volume of raw sugar imports decreased two-fold, white sugar contracted - by 33.1% compared to January-September 2015 figures.
During the period reported the average contract prices for raw sugar and refined sugar increased by 10.4% and by 37.5% respectively.

Voronezh region expects to receive at least 730 thousand tons of sugar by the end of 2016, reported the regional department of agrarian policy. The department has added that the processing of beet crops at sugar plants of the region will be fully completed by February 1.

In November 2016, consumer prices for sugar in Russia decreased by 2.8%, from the start of the year the decrease of consumer prices for sugar has made 2.9%, and on the annual basis (November 2016 to November 2015) - by 3.8%, according to Rosstat .
TAJIKISTAN
According to railway cargo monitoring data by Sugar.Ru, in 11 months of 2016 Tajikistan has received 12.8 thousand tons of sugar transit Russia by rail (in 2015 - 10.4 thousand tons). The bulk volume of sugar was supplied by Ukraine (60%) and Belarus (36%).
ARMENIA
In Armenia the average consumer price of sugar increased by 1.9% in November 2016 compared to the previous month, according to information by the National Statistical Service of Armenia. On an annual basis - in November 2016 to November 2015 – the consumer prices for sugar increased by 14.8%.
