RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, by November 15, 2016 sugar beet was harvested from the area of 1045.9 thousand hectares or 94.2% of the crop acreage (in 2015 - 987.4 thousand ha). Bulk harvest has made 48.3 million tons (in 2015 - 37.5 million tons), the average yield 46.15 MT/ha (in 2015 - 37.94 MT/ha).

BELARUS
According to "Belsahar", the sugar industry of Belarus has processed 2,695,800 tons of sugar beet from which 401,800 tons of white sugar were produced by November 16, 2016. Last year at this date the volume processed was 2,377,100 tons of sugar beet and with 322,300 tons sugar produced.
UKRAINE
As of November 1, 2016 sugar beet production has reached 8.9683 million tons, which is 27.7% more than on the same date in 2015, reported the State Statistics Committee.

Following the increase of sugar beet acreage this season to 292 400 ha from previous 236 900 ha, sugar beet production in Ukraine will increase in 2016 by almost a quarter (+ 24.5%) compared to previous year and will make total up to 12.9 million tons, reports the Institute of Agrarian Economics.
