RUSSIA

The assets of subsidiaries of Kursk based "Ivolga-Center" LTD: "Sakharinvest" LLC (159.4 million rubles) and "Bolshesoldatsky agroobedinenie" LLC (188.4 million rubles) –will be offered for sale in an open auction.

Production of refined beet sugar in Russia has made 1.8 million tons in September 2016 (down by 6.9% compared to September 2015), according to Rosstat.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated October 18, 2016, total 35 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 191 800 MT of raw cane sugar in 2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1 059 300 MT from 31 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

UKRAINE

Ukraine has produced 709,800 tons of sugar by October 18, 2016, according to "Ukrtsukor". From the beginning of the season the sugar plants have received 5,830,000 MT and have processed 4,900,000 MT of sugar beet.

Exports of water with sugar from the country have dropped to 9 078 MT in September against 10 249 MT exported in August. In January-September the volume of exports of water with sugar has made total 79,200 tons. In July Ukraine has exported 12,400 tons of water with sugar.

BELARUS

According to the statistic committee of Belarus, the national sugar production amounted to 148,000 tons in September 2016. In January-September 2016 the industrial sugar production has reached 407,000 tons, which is 20% more than in 2015.

Sugar beet was harvested from an area of 60,900 hectares or 64.5% of the crop acreage by 18 October 2016 (in 2015 – 66 800 hectares), according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

KYRGYZSTAN

In 2016 "Kaindy-Kant" factory plans to process up to 500 tons of raw sugar daily, said Muhammetkaly Abulgazi, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.
