RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 593.7 thousand hectares (53.5% of the area sown) as of October 11, 2016. Bulk harvest makes 26.1 million tons with an average yield of 44.01 MT/ha (in 2015 – 37.82 MT/ha).

Krasnodar region has produced 664.9 thousand tons of sugar and 163.1 thousand tons of pulp YTD (as of October 10), according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the region.
UKRAINE
The Ukrainian sugar plants have received over 4.64 million tons of sugar beet for processing from the beginning of the season and by today have processed 4.02 million tons. Total volume of beet sugar produced in Ukraine from the new crop has reached 579,300 tons, according to "Ukrtsukor".
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the statistic committee, the consumer prices for sugar have increased by 0.3% in September 2016 and basis annual calculation (vs. September 2015) prices increased by 5.1%.
