Sugar beet supply to Cheremnovsky sugar factory may reach 5.5 thousand tons per day in 2016, with up to 825 thousand tons in a season, said Anatoly Stovba, CEO of the company.

Moscow ruble price of sugar added RUR 0.70/kg (+ 1.65%), Krasnodar price – RUR 1.00/kg (+ 2.48%). US dollar equivalent Moscow price of sugar grew by $ 0.022/kg (+ 3.44%), Krasnodar price grew by $0.027/kg (+ 4.44%).
UKRAINE
Deputy prosecutor of Kiev region was detained on the fact of distribution of 30 thousand tons of sugar for UAH 300 million from the Agrarian Fund. According to Oleg Lipovoy, director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, at the end of 2015 it was the prosecutor of Kiev regional prosecutor's office who made final decision on the transfer 30 000 tons of sugar to third parties from stocks which belonged to GSBU "Agrarian Fund" and were stored in warehouses in Cherkassy region.
ARMENIA
Armenian government has approved the draft of free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam. According to the project, a number of products will be fall under zero duty rates immediately after the agreement takes effect; however, Vietnam wants to keep exemptions for sugar, vegetables and cigarettes.
