RUSSIA
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated June 9, 2015, total 15 vessels have been nominated to carry 493450 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 393450 MT from 11 vessels, based on sugar.ru data.

According to the update by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russian Federation, in Russia sugar beet was seeded on an area of 1.012 million hectares as of June 8, 2015, or 103.2% of the forecast (in 2014 – 913,400 hectares).

Group "Razguliay" has completed the sowing campaign in early June, the press service of the Group reported. Area under sugar beet this season has remained at the level of previous season: over 50 thousand hectares. This year "Razguliay" plans to launch 7 out of 10 sugar factories owned by the holding (three in Kursk region, one in Orel, Belgorod regions, Karachayevo-Cherkessia and in Bashkortostan). Unlike last year, when seven mills were operating, "Krivets sugar" is back to processing and JSC "Sugar Mill "Tikhoretsky" shall be offered for rent.
UKRAINE
According to the State Statistics Service, the price of sugar from producers increased by 3.1% in May 2015 and from the beginning of the year the price of sugar from producers has grown by 28.2%.
