According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-May 2021, conducted by Sugar.Ru, import of sugar (HS code 1701) has made 100441 MT (14924.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 2187 MT (4.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For May 2021 import of sugar has made 60320 MT, export - 7 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Brazil (57.7%), Poland (27.6%), Belgium (4.4%), Other countries (10.3%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Israel (42.9%), Germany (30.4%), Moldova (14.8%), Other countries (11.9%).
