Export and import of white sugar in January - November 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in November 2020 Russia has imported 23.9 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199). According to the results of 11 months of white sugar import campaign, Russia has shipped in 172.0 thousand tons (in 2019 - 285.7 thousand MT; in 2018 - 275.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2020, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (98.32%) and AZERBAIJAN (0.47%).

In November 2020 Russia has exported 22.0 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 11 months of white sugar export campaign, Russia has shipped out 995.0 thousand tons (in 2019 - 473.9 thousand MT; in 2018 - 328.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2020, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were UZBEKISTAN (22.86%) and KAZAKHSTAN (22.71%).
