Export and import of white sugar in January - February 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in February 2020 Russia has imported 8.2 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199). According to the results of 2 months of white sugar import campaign, Russia has shipped in 14.0 thousand tons (in 2019 - 49.4 thousand MT; in 2018 - 47.7 thousand MT).
In the period January - February 2020, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (97.56%) and AZERBAIJAN (0.81%).

In February 2020 Russia has exported 98.5 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 2 months of white sugar export campaign, Russia has shipped out 176.5 thousand tons (in 2019 - 21.1 thousand MT; in 2018 - 146.4 thousand MT).
In the period January - February 2020, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (35.64%) and TAJIKISTAN (14.95%).
