The sugar season is over in the country, a total of 1.48 million tons of sugar was produced, which is 19% less than in the previous year, NASU Ukrtsukor reports.
UZBEKISTAN
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, starting from January 1, 2020, a share of 90% of sugar produced in the country shall be sold on the basis of market principles exclusively through exchange trade with equal access to exchange trading for all categories of buyers.
