RUSSIA

Average consumer price for refined sugar amounted to 43.14 rubles per 1 kg in October 2018, which is 2 rubles higher than a month ago, according to Rosstat.

The Prodimex group decided to close the Sadovsky sugar factory, located in the Anninsky district of the Voronezh region. In 2018 the enterprise has turned 184 years old. The plant processes 2 thousand tons of sugar beet per day, it does not have a station for drying and granulation of pulp.

KAZAKHSTAN

According to Statkom of Kazakhstan, the producer price of white sugar in November 2018 (excluding excises and VAT) has not changed and amounted to 161299 Tenge/kg.

UKRAINE

As of December 4, 2018, 11.25 million tons of beets were processed and 1517.2 thousand tons of sugar were produced; 40 sugar factories operated during the season, Ukrtsukor reports.

BELARUS

According to Sugar.Ru railway monitoring data, in November, 8.9 thousand tons of Belarusian sugar was transited by the Russian rail. Most of all it was delivered to Kazakhstan (8.4 thousand tons). Since the beginning of 2018 Belarus has delivered 132.8 thousand tons of white sugar transit the Russian rail.
