RUSSIA
In Tambov region farmers have harvested 105.203 hectares (100% of the plan), the bulk harvest made 3,950.314 thousand tons, with an average yield of 37.5 MT/ha as of November 27, 2018, reports the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

According to Sugar.Ru railway monitoring data, in January-November 2018 Russia imported 239634 MT of sugar. The largest exporting countries to Russia were Belarus (96.61%) and Lithuania (3.07%). Russian exports amounted to 294 267 MT, the main countries receiving sugar were Kazakhstan (50.99%) and Uzbekistan (37.86%).
Domestic shipments amounted to 1,420,891 MT, the largest volume of shipments was made by Cheremnovsky (5.36%) and Leningradsky (4.57%) sugar plants. The total transit by rail through Russia was 490282 MT.

According to Armstat data, processed by Sugar.Ru, Import of sugar (HS code 1701) in October 2018 has made 0.0 MT (in October 2017 - 0.0 MT, in October 2016 - 0.0 MT). Import of sugar in January-October 2018 has made 0.0 MT, for the same period last year - 0.0 MT. Import of sugar (HS code 1701) increased over the month by 418.51% in October 2018 and has made 884.4 MT (in previous month - 170.6 MT, in October 2017 - 3956.7 MT, in October 2016 - 551.5 MT). Import of sugar in January-October 2018 has made 47908.6 MT, for the same period last year - 52103.6 MT.
UKRAINE
As of November 30, 10.97 million tons of beets were processed and 1,475.5 thousand tons of sugar was produced in current season, reports Ukrtsukor.
