RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of October 29, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 1013.55 thousand hectares or 91.4% of the area sown (in 2017 – 991.83 thousand hectares).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated October 30, 2018, total 11 vessels have been nominated to carry 408894 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 368894 MT from 10 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
As of October 29, 39 sugar factories are operating; 6.72 million tons of beets have been processed and 872.7 thousand tons of sugar produced, reports Ukrtsukor.

The share of the three largest Ukrainian sugar exporting holdings accounts for about 70% of the market. Astarta-Kiev remains the largest sugar exporter in the country – the share of the three sugar companies of the holding are in the TOP-10 list and they account for over 25% of the market (without taking into account the two sugar factories of Astarta-Kiev, which were not included in the top, namely, Savinsky and Narkevichsky).
BELARUS
By October 30, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 86.6 thousand hectares or 87.2% of the area sown (in 2017 - 81 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the information by "Belsakhar", the Association of sugar producers, as of October 30, 2018, total volume processed has made 2,051.1 thousand tons of sugar beet of the 2018 crop, out of which 262.7 thousand tons of white sugar was produced.
