RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of October 23, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 965.91 thousand hectares or 87.11% of the area sown (in 2017 – 898.22 thousand hectares). Bulk harvest of 34.85 million tons was collected (in 2017 – 38.3 million tons), with average yield of 36.08 MT/ha (in 2017 – 42.64 MT/ha).

Georgia
According to the analysis of National Statistics Office of Georgia, conducted by Sugar.Ru, in September 2018 the import of cane raw sugar (HS code 170114) has made $1.8 thousand ($7.1 million in 2017). Totally in for January - September 2018 Georgia imported cane raw sugar for $16.0 million ($21.2 million in 2017).
BELARUS
By October 24, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 75.7 thousand hectares or 76% of the area sown (in 2017 - 71.2 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 3472.5 thousand MT (in 2017 - 3399.8 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 45.87 MT/ha (in 2017 – 47.76 MT/ha). The beet sugar content in the republic is 1870.8% versus 1964.2% for the same date last year.
