RUSSIA
The revenue of Zainsk Sugar plant exceeded 4.8 billion rubles in 2017. The plant produced more than 170 thousand tons of granulated sugar, 40.6 thousand tons of molasses and 58.1 thousand tons of granulated beet pulp in the season. The company estimated export deliveries worth 128.6 million rubles, including granulated pulp worth 124.1 million rubles, the company press service informed.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, by May 31, 2018, sugar beet was sown on an area of 1131.3 thousand hectares or 103.3% of the forecast (in 2017 - 1.2 million hectares).
KYRGYZSTAN
Total acreage of 16 thousand hectares was sown with sugar beet in Kyrgyzstan, the weather favours the growth of crops. The Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture forecasts yields of about 40.0 MT/ha.
GEORGIA
According to the analysis of National Statistics Office of Georgia, conducted by Sugar.Ru, in April 2018 the import of sugar confectionery (HS code 1704) has made $1.4 million ($1.5 million in 2017). Total in January - April 2018 Georgia imported sugar confectionery for $6.0 million ($5.9 million in 2017).
Export of sugar confectionery in January - April 2018 has made $149.4 thousand, total for 4 months 2018 - $377.6 thousand (in 2017 - $442.0 thousand).
