RUSSIA
According to Soyuzrossahar figures dated January 26, 2017, Russian sugar refineries processed 45.2 million tons of sugar beet and produced 6.35 million tons of beet sugar, which is 373,000 tons more than last year. About 1.1 million tons of beets are stored at the pre-plant beet pits and in the field piles, taking into account their condition, another 90-100 thousand tons can be produced out of it.

The property complex of the "Kuban "Agrofirm" LLC, which is in the bankruptcy procedure, was acquired by LLC "Agrofirma Khutorok" ". The purchase of land, equipment and livestock for cattle amounted to 150.5 million rubles.
BELARUS
Stocks of sugar with the industrial enterprises amounted to 428.5 thousand tons as of January 1, 2018, which is 33.3% more than it was as of December 1, 2017, reports the National Statistical Committee.
UKRAINE
Minagroprod (the Agrarian ministry) developed a draft resolution for the regulation of sugar and sugar beet production to be effective from September 1, 2018 to September 1, 2019. This project sets the maximum volume of the quota for the supply of sugar to the domestic market (quota "A") in the volume of 1600 thousand tons (1600 thousand tons - consumption fund by the population, based on the recommended rational rate of per capita consumption of 38 kg per year) in the period from September 1, 2018 to September 1, 2019. The minimum price for sugar beet and sugar within quota "A" for the specified period is proposed to be approved at 753.04 UAH and 10907.61 UAH per 1 ton, without VAT (about 1 465 rubles and 21 218 rubles per 1 ton respectively, at the current rate of the Central Bank of RF). Thus, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine proposes to raise the minimum price for sugar quota "A" in the next season by 18.92% compared to current season - from 9 172.57 to 10 907.61 UAH / ton.

As of January 25, 2018, the country has produced 2.05 million tons of sugar and 14.28 million tons of sugar beet processed. This season, 46 enterprises processed sugar beet, "Ukrtsukor" reports.
