GC " Razgulyay" has offered for sale at least four sugar factories - two in Belgorod region and one in Karachay-Cherkessia and one in Kursk region, the sugar market rumours. Representatives of the "Razgulyay" deny the information.
NCSP Group (LSE: NCSP, Moscow Exchange: NMTP) reports that the volume of transshipment of sugar in January-October has made 768,600 tons (less by 146,600 tons or 16% than in 2014).
In Orel region the local sugar plants have accepted 1.387 million tons of sugar beet including 1 million 243 thousand tons processed by November 12. The volume of beet sugar produced makes 195,500 tons.
According to the local agriculture departments in Russian regions, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 987,400 ha (97.2% of total) by November 16, 2015. Bulk volume collected makes 37.5 million tons, with average yields of 37.94 MT/ha.
According to the Department of agriculture of Belgorod region, regional sugar plants have processed over 2 million tons of beets and produced 311,000 tons of sugar by November 17. The content of sucrose in beet makes average 18.3% in the region.
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated November 17, 2015, total 35 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 128 080 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1 042 630 MT from 32 vessels, based on sugar.ru data.
Production of sugar beet in September 2015 –February 2016 may fall by more than 30%. During crisis times sugar producers intend to increase the supply of imported raw sugar, and the reduction or temporary suspension of import duties, according to Belarus mass media.
In January-October 2015 the average trade price of sugar beet has made UAH 710.4/MT (+ 43.5% vs. 2014). In October, the average sell price of sugar beet was UAH 747.1/MT (+ 14.4% vs. 2014). The total volume of sugar beet sold in the January-October 2015 has reached 2 918 100 tons (30.7% less compared to 2014).
