According to the figures by the Ministry of Agriculture dated November 5, 2015; sugar beet was harvested from an area of 930 000 ha or 91.6% of the total crop acreage. Collected over 35.1 million MT, with average yields of 37.85 MT/ha.
According to the Federal Statistics Service, consumer prices for sugar decreased by 2.4% in Russia in October 2015, from the beginning of the year – increased by 16.6%.
