According to the monitoring of prices in the period from October 29 – November 5, 2015 performed by sugar.ru, the US dollar exchange rate has decreased by 2.3% (on October 29 US$ 1=RUR 65.32; on November 5 US$ 1=RUR 63.85). Price of sugar has not changed staying at RUR 40.40/kg in Moscow and at RUR 39.20/kg in Krasnodar. In Moscow US dollar equivalent price of sugar rose by US$ 0.014/kg (2.26%), Krasnodar price of sugar has added US$ 0.014/kg (+2.33%).
According Soyuzrossakhar figures as of November 3, 2015, the country has harvested 924,100 ha (90.5%) with an average yield of 37.9 MT/ha. Farmers in Kursk region and the Chechen Republic have completed harvesting season.
Transit of white sugar to Kyrgyzstan via Russia amounted to 68 tons in October, in 10 months in 2015 – 66.9 thousand tons.
UKRAINE
The price of sugar has reached UAH 15.11/kg on October 30 (on October 20 was UAH 14.39/kg), the State Statistics Service informs.
By October 30 the sugar mills of Volyn region was supplied with 375 thousand tons of sugar beet including 334 thousand tons processed. The volume of white sugar produced makes 44 thousand tons, according to the regional administration.
In Belarus sugar beet was harvested from 94.9% of the total crop acreage by November 5; bulk volume collected makes 3 123 400 tons; content of sucrose in sugar beet at acceptance is 16.70%, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. According to the association "Belsahar" report on the same date, the sugar industry of Belarus has processed 1,980,900 tons of sugar beet and produced 270 600 tons of sugar.
