Farmers in the Altai Territory have completed harvesting of sugar beets on October 28, 2015. Total harvested 22,200 hectares (100%), collected 770,400 tons, with an average yield of 34.7 MT/ha.
The average consumer price for sugar in Russia in September 2015 has made RUR 55.29 per 1 kg, or RUR 0.39/kg more than in August (RUR 54.9/kg). From October 20 to October 26, 2015 Russian consumer price of sugar fell by 0.4%, according to Rosstat.
According to price monitoring by sugar.ru in the period from October 22 to October 29, 2015 the US dollar exchange rate rose by 4.3% (on Oct 22 US$ 1=RUR 62.63; on Oct 29 US$ 1=RUR 65.32). Moscow RUR price of sugar added RUR /kg (+0.25%), Krasnodar price has not changed, remaining at the level of RUR 39.20/kg. Moscow US dollar equivalent price of sugar fell by US$ 0.024/kg (-3.73%), Krasnodar price dropped by US$ 0.026/kg (-4.15%).
According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the country has performed the following import/export operations in 9 months (January - September) of 2015:
KAZAKHSTAN
Following the deregulation of the Kazakh Tenge exchange rate, sugar price grew by 25.8 per cent (in the period from August 18 to October 20, 2015) from 163 Tenge to 205 Tenge per kilogram, according to "Kazagromarketing".

- Import other sugars (HS code 1702) for total value of US$ 2,972 thousand, including in the month of report - US$ 352 million.
