According to figures issued by the Ministry of Agriculture dated October 20, 2015; sugar beet was harvested from an area of 778 300 ha or 76.6% of the total crop acreage.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Mordovia, the region has completed harvesting sugar beet on 20 October 2015. Total acreage of beet harvested makes 24,814 hectares (100% of plan), total collected 975,390 tons with an average yield of 39.3 MT/ha.
The volume of production of refined beet sugar amounted to 188 thousand tons in Ukraine in September 2015, thus total manufacture volume in 2015 (January-September) has reached 224 thousand tons, which is 48.1% less than the same period of 2014, reported State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Kazakhstan has produced 48,320 tons of commodities listed in category “raw sugar or refined sugar cane or beet; molasses” in September 2015, the year production has grown to 227 270 tons (January- September 2015), which is 11.4% less than in 2014, according to Statistics Agency of RK.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture the Republic of Belarus, the country has harvested sugar beet form 72.9% of the crops area by October 21; bulk volume collected makes 2,263,800 MT; content of sucrose in sugar beet at acceptance is 16.86% average. According to the Association "Belsahar" sugar industry has processed 1,459,500 tons of sugar beet from which total 201,100 tons of white sugar was produced.
