According to railway cargo monitoring by Sugar.Ru, Russia exported by rail 8.2 thousand MT of white sugar in the first 9 months of 2015. The largest recipient of Russian sugar is Kazakhstan (54% of exports by rail).
According to the National Statistics Committee of Belarus, , sugar production in the country amounted to 106.6 thousand tons in September 2015; in January-September 2015 the industrial production of sugar has reached 339,800 tons, a decrease of 3% compared to the same period in 2014
Belarus has harvested sugar beet from 63.5% of the crop acreage by October 16; bulk harvest makes 1906.8 thousand MT of sugar beet, content of sucrose at acceptance is 16.94%. According to the Association "Belsahar", sugar capacities of Belarus have processed 1282.1 thousand MT of sugar beet from which 176 900 tons of white sugar produced.
The average trade price of sugar beet has made UAH 642.8 per ton (excluding VAT, subsidies, transport, freight and overhead costs.) in Ukraine in January-September 2015, the State Statistics Service reports.
