According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated September 29, 2015, total 32 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 042 630 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end- receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 921 580 MT from 29 vessels, based on sugar.ru data.
Farmers in Vinnitsa region started harvesting sugar beets. By September 28, sugar beets were harvested from the area of 6 700 ha (12.9%) with 233 300 tons collected at an average yield of 35.0 MT/ha (in 2014 – 46.4 MT/ha). There are 6 sugar plants in the region that have already received 260.2 thousands of tons of sugar beet for processing including 172 ,500 tons processed; beet sugar production has made 21 676 tons.
Koksu sugar factory has accepted the first batch of sugar beet harvest this year. The plant is ready to receive 100-120 thousand tons of raw materials as planned and to produce 12 thousand tons of sugar.
Volumes of agricultural subsidies will increase 5 times in 2020, the Minister of Agriculture Mr. Asylzhan Mamytbekov has announced.
