RUSSIA
Imports of sugar from non-CIS countries to Russia has reached US$ 22.2 mln in August 2015, according to the Federal Customs Service.

According Soyuzrossakhar, the country has harvested 356.2 thousand ha (34.9%) of sugar beet by September 22, 2015.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, sugar beet was collected from the area of 348.6 thousand ha (31.1%) by September 22, 2015.

BELARUS
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus has increased the maximum prices for sugar beet by 20%. The new maximum price for the standard beets will grow from Br 446 000 to Br 535 000 per metric ton (about RUR 2 000 at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation) excluding VAT; the new maximum price for substandard beets (Belarus Standard No 1893-2008) will increase from Br 356 000 to Br 427 000 (about RUR 1 600).

Belarus has exported 234 000 tons of sugar in the solid state (HS code 1701) In January-July 2015 for the total value of US$ 137.8 million. The bulk of exports went to Russia - 185 000 MT.
UKRAINE
According to the balance of the organization "Economic discussion club", in 2014/15 marketing year Ukraine has supplied 109 thousand tons of sugar to foreign markets, based on provisional figures. The plans for the new season envisage exports of 50 000 tons. The total volume of 138 000 MT of sugar was delivered to the territory of FEZ "Crimea" for the report period; it is planned to ship 75 000 tons in2015/16 marketing year.
