RUSSIA
According Soyuzrossahar, after the transition in the composition of SC "Prodimex" three sugar plants of Kursk Region, "Belsahar" Ltd., "Sakharinvest" LLC and "Sugar Zolotukhino" LLC will start processing sugar beet from 25 September.

Beet sugar production in Russia will increase by about 11%, and will reach 5 million tons, forecasts Petr Chekmarev the Director of the Department of crop production, chemization and plant protection of the Ministry of Agriculture. Growth in sugar production contributed a large amount of areas sown by sugar beet - more than 1 million hectares.

Ministry of Agriculture of Russia under the presidential decree has prepared amendments to the doctrine of the food security, according to which the level of self-sufficiency of sugar should reach 90%.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of September 15, 2015; sugar beet was harvested from an area of 281.6 thousand ha or 27.6% of the total crop acreage. Collected total 10.8 million MT, with average yields of 38.47 MT/ha.

Production of beet sugar in Russia in August 2015, amounted to 425 thousand tons, which is higher by 13.7% compared to August 2014.
UKRAINE
In Ternopil region, on September 17, Zbarazh Sugar Refinery has started processing of sugar beet. In this season, an enterprise plans to process 250-300 thousand tons of sugar beets and produce 35-40 thousand tons of sugar.

As of September 14, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 10 thousand hectares. Collected 364 thousand tons of beet with an average yields of 36.3 MT/ha. Transported 242 thousand tons of sugar beets
BELARUS
As of September 18, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 12,100 hectares (12.1%). Bulk harvest makes 471.9 thousand tons, with yields of 26.56 MT/ha. The content of sucrose in beet makes 17.6%. In 2015, sugar beet should be harvested from the total area of 99.8 thousand hectares. According to the Association "Belsahar" the Belarusian sugar enterprises have processed 350.1 thousand tons of sugar beet from which they produced 45.7 thousand tons of refined sugar.
