RUSSIA
According to operative figures issued by the Ministry of Agriculture dated September 15, 2015; sugar beet was harvested from an area of 253 100 ha or 24.8% of the total crop acreage. Collected total 9.7 million MT, with average yields of 38.5 MT/ha.

Industrial production of beet sugar amounted to 509 thousand tons in January-August 2015 in Russia, which is 13.4% less than in the same period of 2014, according to Rosstat. According Soyuzrossakhar, the country has harvested 7.6 million MT of sugar beet and has produced more than 900 000 tons of beet sugar from the start of juice extracting season and by September 14, 2015.

KYRGYZSTAN
"Kaindy-Kant" sugar plant will open beet receiving points in every district of Chui region this year starting from September 25, and is ready to conclude procurement contracts on purchase of sugar beet harvest to be harvested in 2016 at price of 3400-3500 Kyrgyz soms per ton, depending on the area. The representative of the factory has also announced special action in October 2015 when farmers could acquire the remainder of hybrids of sugar beet seeds at a discount.
KAZAKHSTAN
In Kazakhstan production of goods from category “raw sugar or refined sugar cane or beet; treacle (molasses)” has amounted to 9 000 tons in August 2015, according to the Agency for Statistics. In January-August 2015 the production of such commodities has reached 178 950 MT, which is 19.7% less than in 2014.
BELARUS
According to the National Statistics Committee, sugar production in the country amounted to 8.4 thousand MT in August 2015. Industrial production of sugar has made 233 200 tons in January-August 2015 in the Republic of Belarus, which is less by 12.9% compared to the same period in 2014.
