RUSSIA
On January 11, 2022, 6 contracts of white sugar were sold at NTB. Total sales amounted to 600 tons at an average price of 49,367 rubles / ton ($ 657.07 / ton at the exchange rate of the Central Bank on the indicated date). Exchange trading closed at the levels of 49800 rubles / ton (CFO), 49300 rubles / ton (PFO).
UZBEKISTAN
In January-November 2021, Uzbekistan imported 23.2 thousand tons of sugar from 12 foreign countries for the total value of US$ 13 million, the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports. Sugar imports decreased by 10.5 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of 2020. Including:
- from Russia - 5.3 thousand tons
- from Azerbaijan - 4.6 thousand tons
- from Poland - 3.7 thousand tons
- from Ukraine - 3.4 thousand tons
- from Kazakhstan - 1.5 thousand tons
