RUSSIA

Sugar beet harvesting began in the Ryazan region. By September 10, 2021 sugar beets were harvested from 285 hectares (4.4% of the regional crop acreage), 12 thousand tons of crops collected.

In the Lipetsk region, as of September 9, 11.3 thousand hectares were harvested, 365.5 thousand tons of sugar beet were collected; average yield makes 32.35 MT/ha. The factories of the region have processed more than 347 thousand tons of new harvest and have produced more than 45 thousand tons of sugar.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of September 9, 2021, sugar beets were harvested from 105 thousand hectares; 4.1 million tons collected.

On September 09, 2021, 8 sugar contracts were sold at NTB. The total volume of sales has made 820 MT at the average price of RUR 45463/MT (US$619,03/MT at the exchange rate of CBR on date indicated). Trading session closed at $622.26/MT (CFO), $615.45/MT (YFO).

UKRAINE

As of September 9, 2021, farmers in the Kharkov region have collected 12.4 thousand tons of sugar beet from 326 hectares harvested (6% of the plan), the average yield makes 38.00 MT/ha, the regional administration reports.
