Sugar production (white beet or cane sugar) In the Russian Federation, amounted to 1.6 million tons in October 2020, which is 34.3% more than in September 2020, but 12.3% less than in September 2019. These data is provided by Rosstat and processed by Sugar.Ru. Slightly less than 4.0 million tons of sugar were produced in ten months of this year.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of November 17, 2020, sugar beets were harvested from 914.7 thousand hectares (99% of crop acreage); bulk harvest makes 33.2 million tons; average yield – 36.27 MT/ha.
