Export and import of white sugar in January - November 2019 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in November 2019 Russia has imported 7.4 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199). According to the results of 11 months of white sugar import campaign, Russia has shipped in 285.7 thousand tons (in 2018 - 275.6 thousand MT; in 2017 - 228.3 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2019, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (88.59%) and POLAND (5.57%).

In November 2019 Russia has exported 101.4 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 11 months of white sugar export campaign, Russia has shipped out 466.4 thousand tons (in 2018 - 328.2 thousand MT; in 2017 - 399.4 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2019, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (31.22%) and UKRAINE (13.54%).
