"Prommash" LTD (TIN 2310183527) became the winner by lot №1 for the sale of LLC "Kuban sugar" - a claim of "Cuban sugar" to JSC "Kanevsksahar" for total value of RUR 84.885 million, the offer price was RUR 2 691 150.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was sown on an area of 23,600 hectares (2.2% of the forecast) as of April 1, 2016 in Russia.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the wholesale price of sugar fell by 0.5%, retail - by 0.4% from March 22 to March 28 2016. In January-February 2016 the production of sugar amounted to 126.8 thousand tons, which is more by 27.2% compared to the same period of 2015.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the data of the Statistics Agency, prices for sugar from producers increased by 8.8% in March 2016 compared to the previous month, while from the beginning of the year (vs. December 2015) the increase has totaled 15.8%.

It is planned to increase sugar beet acreage to make 6 thousand hectares in Zhambyl region in 2016. 420 million Kazakh tenge will be allocated from the local budget for this purpose only.
CUSTOMS UNION
The import duty on raw sugar deliveries to the Customs Union is set at US$ 240/ton in April 2016. In May 2016 the duty will drop to the level of US$ 227/ton.
