The Board of Directors of "Rusagro" has recommended to the General Meeting of Shareholders to pay dividends of 30% of net profit for 2015 totalling RUR 7.1 billion, according to press-service of "Rusagro". Taking into account the interim dividend for the first half of 2015, the total amount makes RUR 5.3 billion, or US$ 77.5 million.

Total volume of 1300 tons of sugar beet seeds (or 37.1% of the demand) are supplied for the spring sowing campaign as of March 23, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

In 2015, in late February, the commodity reserves were estimated at 120 thousand tons, the largest stocks were in 2013 – 308.8 thousand tons. Wholesale organizations have increased sugar sales volume by 34% in February reaching 142.5 thousand tons total (sales in 2015 made the same 142,500 tons; in 2014 - 133.2 thousand tons).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated March 29, 2016, total 10 vessels have been nominated to carry 364800 MT of raw cane sugar in 2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 133500 MT from 4 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) have prevented the state losses of more than UAH 0.5 billion that may arise from the attempts of raider attacks of 50 000 tons of sugar belonging to the Agrarian Fund and stored in warehouses of private organizations in Brovary (Kiev region), according to the SSU report.
