RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Mordovia, upon the final results of 2015 the republic has produced 109,300 tons of sugar, which is almost 11 400 MT higher than in previous season.

According information from Soyuzrossakhar dated March 9, 2016, all sugar plants have suspended beet processing activities for 2015/16 Marketing year. Total volume processed makes 34 332 thousand tons (16.6% more than in the same period of 2014-2015), volume of beet sugar production has reached 5.178 million MT (up by 16.7% compared to the same period in 2014-2015). The wholesale price for sugar has decreased by 1.7%, retail – by 0.4%, in the period from March 1 to 9, 2016, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Sugar beet sowing campaign the Krasnodar region in 2016 season is anticipated to start in the last ten days of March.
UKRAINE
Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine (excluding the Crimea and Sevastopol) have traded 370.9 thousand MT of sugar in December, according to state service statistics. Total volume of sugar sold by agricultural enterprises in 2015 has made 1 349 thousand MT (+ 50.6% compared to 2014).

According to the State Service statistics, prices for sugar from producers decreased by 1.2% in February 2016 compared to the previous month; from the beginning of the year – by 0.2%.
BELARUS
According to the State Statistics Service (Statcom), the average consumer price of sugar has made 15 227 Belarus rubles (Br) per 1 kg in February 2016 (or RUR 51.88/kg at the current rate of the Central Bank of Russia), which is makes it more expensive (by 311 Br. Rubles) than a month ago.
KYRGYZSTAN
The consumer prices for sugar has decreased by 0.5% in Kyrgyzstan in February 2016. From the beginning of the year the total growth has made 0.2%, according to the Kyrgyz STATCOM.
