According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated March 2, 2016, total 51 vessels have been nominated to carry 1679800 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015/2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1458800 MT from 45 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
An emergency meeting of the representatives of the district public management was held in Kagarlyk (Kiev region), where representatives of the population had opposed the elimination of the sugar factory, which was recognized a bankrupt back in 2013.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the data by the Statistics Agency, the prices for sugar from manufacturers have increased by 5.1% in February 2016; and from the beginning of the year by 6.4%.
