RUSSIA
Russian consumer prices of sugar grew by 1.2% in the period February 2 to 8, 2016; from the beginning of the year the growth has made 3.8%, according to Rosstat.

According to the regional prices monitoring data by sugar.ru in the period February 04 – 11, 2016, the dollar exchange rate has decreased by 0.2% (on Feb 04 RUR 79.26/US$; on Feb 11 RUR 79.07/US$). Moscow RUR price of sugar fell by RUR 1.70/kg (-3.62%), Krasnodar price dropped by RUR 1.70/kg (- 3.76%). The US dollar equivalent price in Moscow decreased by US$0.020/kg (-3.37%); in Krasnodar – by same value of US$0.020/kg (-3.51%).
BELARUS
According to the Statistics Committee of Belarus, the average consumer price of sugar has made 14916 Belarus Rubles per 1 kg in January 2016 (or RUR 53.58/kg at the current rate CBR), which is up by 859
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the Statistics Committee of Kirgizia, the consumer prices for sugar have increased by 0.7% average in January 2016, and the growth amounted to 8.8% in comparison with January 2015.

In 2016 season the Kyrgyz government plans to increase the crops of sugar beet to make up to 10 thousand hectares, Prime Minister Temir Sariyev has declared. In the Talas region it is planned to sow with sugar beet up to 2 thousand hectares of land.
