RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the wholesale price of sugar fell by 2.1%, retail - increased by 1.2% from 26 January to 1 February 2016. Imports of raw sugar in January 2016 (as of January 24 2016) are 9.4 times less than during the same period in 2014. Sugar consumption per capita in 2014 has amounted to 40.0 kg compared to standard ration figure of 24-28 kg.

The Federal State Statistics Service reports that consumer prices for sugar in Russia increased by 2.4% in January 2016.

According to the Federal Customs Service, in 2015 season Russia has imported 506,800 tons of raw sugar valued at US$ 191.3 million, which is 23.9% less than in 2014. Imports of white sugar to Russia in 2015 season have made 445.1 thousand tons (56.3% more than in 2014) for a total value of US$ 161.9 million (important note: the statistics of imports of white sugar FCS includes the estimated volume of imports from the CU).
ARMENIA
The average consumer price of sugar increased by 0.2% in January 2016, according to the National Statistical Service.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to data by the Statistics Agency, the prices of sugar by manufacturers grew by 1.3% in January 2016 and by 29% on an annualized basis (from January 2015).
UKRAINE
According Statistics Committee, the total volume of sales of domestically produced sugar amounted to – UAH 15905,9 million (excluding VAT and excise tax) in Ukraine (excluding Crimea and Sevastopol), including volume of trade outside the country – UAH 100 million.

Imports of sugar (HS code 1701) have reached total value of US$ 17230 thousand; other sugars (HS code 1702) – US$ 551 thousand; sugar confectionery (HS code 1704) - US$ 1215 thousand; water and sugar (HS code 2202) - US$ 420 thousand.
Sugar exports (HS code 1701) have reached total value US$ 3555 thousand; other sugars (code HS 1702) -. US$ 388 thousand; molasses (HS 1703 code) - US$ 1254 thousand; sugar confectionery (HS code 1704) - US$ 3967 thousand; water and sugar (HS code 2202) - US$ 1359 thousand.
