According to the analysis of FCS customs declarations conducted by Sugar.Ru, Russia exported, 52 100 tons of molasses to countries outside the Customs Union in November 2015. At the end of 11 months, the export of molasses from Russia has amounted to 262.900 tons (in 2014 –762 500 tons, in 2013 – 605 800 tons).
The major countries importing molasses from Russia were Turkey (62.49%) and Spain (14.71%) in the period January – November 2015. The largest exporters of molasses during those 11 months are "Agrosystems" LLC (32.19%) and "TD Metelitsa" LLC (31.69%).
Sugar plants of “Astarta” have successfully completed processing season. The volume of sugar output amounted to 355 thousand tones (less by 31% than in 2014). Campaign processed almost 2.3 mln tones of sugar beet, reaching record high sugar yield of 15.5%.
Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine, excluding the Crimea and Sevastopol, have sold 176.7 thousand tons of sugar in November, reports the State Statistics Service. In January-November the national agricultural enterprises have traded 978.1 thousand tons of sugar, which is 30.4% more than the same period in 2014.
In November 2015 Armenia has imported 274 tons of sugar and raw sugar (HS code 1701) valued US$ 205 thousand and 195 tons of other sugars (HS code 1702) for the total value of US$ 124 thousand, according to the National Statistics Service of Armenia.
