Prices for food commodities from category “sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and sweets” increased by 0.7% in Russia in November 2015; according to Rosstat.
Penza regional industry has completed sugar beet processing season, according to the regional Ministry of Agriculture. Sugar factories in the region have accepted more than 1.5 million tons of raw materials total and have produced 237 thousand tons of sugar.
Production of refined beet sugar has totaled 508 000 tons in the country in November 2015, which is 25.9% less than in 2014, according to State Statistics Service. Ukraine has produced 1 340 000 tons of beet sugar total in January-November 2015 (less by 28.6% compared to 2014).
According to the Federal Customs Service of Belarus the following volumes were traded internationally in 10 months of 2015:
