According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated December 1, 2015, total 42 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 388 800 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1 067 63 MT from 33 vessels, based on sugar.ru data.
The duty on import of raw sugar to the Customs Union will be set at US$ 240/ton in December 2015. In January 2016, the fee will decrease to US$ 203/MT.
By November 30, 2015 Ukraine has completed harvesting sugar beet. The acreage harvested has made 237 thousand hectares (100%); bulk volume collected has made 10,133,000 tons with an average yield of 42.8 MT/ha. Sugar mills were supplied with 9.459 million tons of sugar beets, according to Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
Kazakhstan became a full member of the WTO de jure on November 30, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has declared.
