"Rusagro" plans to complete the deal with VEB this week to purchase of 20% shares of "Razgulyay," said Group CEO Maxim Basov. VEB sells 20% shares of "Razgulyay" and assigns its debt of 30 billion rubles to the bank. The transaction value was not specified. According Baskov, Rusagro plans this week to take a loan which exceeds 34 billion rubles from the bank at "very low rate" to finalize the deal.
In the period October 20 to November 20, the weighted average price of sugar grew by 5.49%, or by 0.79 to reach UAH 15.18/kg, reports the State Service statistics.
Sugar mills in Vinnitsa region were supplied with nearly 1.7 million tons of sugar beet by November 24. The volume processed makes 1.6 million tons, 238 400 MT of sugar produced, according to the regional administration.
Operational monitoring departments were set up in all regions to identify "illegal rise in prices" of food products and they are instructed to strain price growth and ensure supply to social and vulnerable segments of society, according to the Ministry of Economy.
Azerbaijan has imported 205 thousand tons of raw sugar and sugar for the total value of US$ 89 714.2 thousand in January-September 2015, the State Statistics Committee informs.
