According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated November 24, 2015, total 36 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 179 280 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1 042 630 MT from 32 vessels, based on sugar.ru data.
According to Soyuzrossakhar, by November 23, Russia has produced 4.0 million tons of sugar. Total bulk harvest makes 30.0 million tons of sugar beet. From the beginning of the production season the country has produced 800 thousand tons of granulated sugar beet pulp, and about 1.0 million tons of sugar beet molasses.
According to a press release from the group of companies RusAgro, in January-September 2015 the company has increased sales of sugar to RUR 22.922 billion (up by 38% compared to the same period of 2014). Total produced 357 thousand tons of sugar (in previous year – 390 thousand tons); total volume of sugar traded has made 556 thousand tons (in 2014 – 586 thousand tons).
Slutsk Sugar Refinery has completed the juice extracting season on November 23, 2015, total volume processed has made 730 thousand tons of beet (last season - 1 million 127 thousand tons).
Belitsky sugar plant (situated in Poltava region of Ukraine), operation of which was suspended due to non-compliance to quality standards, will resume work back in 2016.
By November 19, 2015 farmers in Kiev region have collected sugar beets from 13.8 thousand hectares (91.3% of total), bulk harvest makes 776.3 thousand tons with the average yield of 56.24 MT/ha.
