The verdict of the Yeisk district court entered into force in respect of Vitaly Kravtsov, director of "Partner", who was found guilty of complicity in the implementation of the scheme of theft of property of "Eco-product" in the form of the right of claim to JSC "Girkubs" for total RUR 568 million. Kravtsov was sentenced to three years imprisonment on probation.

According Soyuzrossakhar, as of August 18, total 1280 (in 2014 - 1190) thousand tons of beets were processed and over 150 (in 2014 - 145) thousand tons of sugar produced.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated August 18, 2015, total 27 vessels have been nominated to carry 873330 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 707430 MT from 22 vessels, based on sugar.ru data.

According to the State Statistics Service, the average price for white sugar by manufacturers rose by UAH 138.51 in July 2015 and has made UAH 8202.05 per 1 ton (or RUR 24 365.6/MT at the rate of exchange of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on August 18).

KAZAKHSTAN

The volume of production of goods from category "raw sugar or refined sugar cane or beet sugar; molasses" has amounted to 19.62 thousand tons in Kazakhstan in January-July 2015, which is 66.2% less than it was a month ago (58.07 thousand tons), according to the Statistical Agency. In January-July 2015 the production of commodities from this category has made 169.95 thousand tons, which is 15.3% less than in 2014.
