Soyuzrossakhar informs, the dynamics of sugar beet development in Russian Federation looks as follows (as of August 11, 2015):
- beet weight - 411 g (2014 - 412 g, in 2013 – 444 g);
- mass of foliage -385 g (in 2014 – 326 g, in 2013 – 340 g);
- sucrose content - 14.4% (in 2014 - 15.9%, in 2013 - 13.7%).

According Soyuzrossahar in its report dated August 13, agriculture enterprises in Lipetsk, Orel and Tambov regions (the Central Federal District) began harvesting sugar beet that corresponds to the schedule of previous season.

Over the past week, from August 4 to August 10, 2015, the Russian consumer prices for sugar increased by 2.1%, the Federal State Statistics Service reports; from the beginning of the year the growth has made 14.2%.

In Astrakhan, the retail sugar price has sharply rallied from RUR 39 to RUR 60 per one kg in three weeks, local media say.

According to price monitoring sugar.ru, in the period August 06 to August 13, 2015 the dollar was strengthening again, this time by 3.7% (on Aug 06 US$1=RUR 62.72; on Aug 13 - US$1=RUR 65.02). In anticipation of beet sugar manufacture Moscow ruble price of sugar fell by RUR 0.70/kg (-1.57%), Krasnodar price has dropped by RUR 1.50/kg (-3.53%). Moscow US dollar equivalent price of sugar fell by US$ 0.036/kg (-5.05%), Krasnodar price has lost US$ 0.047/kg (-6.93%).
UKRAINE
Ukrainian exports of water with sugar have reduced to 10,445 tons in July, against 11,631 tons of imports in June. In general, in January-July exports of water with sugar has made 52.2 thousand tons.

In Ukraine, the acreage under sugar beet in 2015 has decreased by 27.8% (compared to 2014 season) or by 92.1 thousand hectares down to 238.9 thousand hectares, according to report by "Agro Perspectiva".
KAZAKHSTAN
Prices for imported sugar increased by 6.4% in Kazakhstan in June 2015, according to the Statistical Agency.
