RUSSIA
Tatarstan has decided to upgrade capacity of local sugar factories. Buinsky and Nurlatsky plants are able to process up to 8 thousand tons of raw materials with reconstruction continuing at the factory in Buinsk. Today Zainsk sugar factory has increased its processing capacity up to 3 thousand tons of raw materials / day.

"Kristall-2" – sugar factory in Novokubansk area of In the Krasnodar region – has started to accept beet, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the region. The rest of the plants in Krasnodar Territory will start receiving sugar beet from 1 August. According to the Association "Kubansaharprom", total 14 of 16 regional sugar mills will operate in the season-2015. The total volume of sugar beet projected for processing in the region will be about 8.5 million tons (including the supply of sugar beet from Stavropol Territory and Rostov Region).
BELARUS
Sugar stocks in the country made 71.9 thousand tons as of 1 July 2015, which is 35.8% less than it was on June 1, 2015, the National Statistical Committee of Belarus informs.
AZERBAIJAN
Import of sugar in Azerbaijan has made total 95.5 thousand tons in January-May 2015, which is 36.1 less than during the same period last year, according to State Statistics Committee of the Republic. The total cost of imported sugar to the country has totalled US$ 45 million 837.8 thousand
