RUSSIA

Mass development of diseases affecting cereals and sugar beet occurs in Tatarstan because of heavy rains and cool weather.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated July 14, 2015, total 25 vessels have been nominated to carry 812 730 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 522 580 MT from 16 vessels, based on sugar.ru data.

UZBEKISTAN

The State Committee for Competition monitors the maximum price for sugar - 3200 UZ soums established by the government. At detection of the facts overpricing the data of such entity is immediately submitted to the tax authorities for further actions.

KYRGYZSTAN

In January-May 2015 Kyrgyzstan has produced 46.2 tons of refined sugar, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation. During 2014 the country sugar production has totalled 20 000 MT and 113 tons of refined sugar. According to authorities, the volume of imports of sugar has made 23 480 MT in the period January - March 2015 for the total value of US$ 14.69 million. In 2014, the volume of imports of sugar was 80 488 tons, exports amounted to 12.9 tons. Basically, sugar is imported from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania and Poland.
