RUSSIA
According to the Federal Customs Service, Russia imported 400,000 tons of raw sugar for the total value of US$ 155.2 million in January-May 2015, which is 9.4% less than in 2014. Imports of white sugar to Russia in January-May 2015 have amounted to 112.3 thousand tons (1.7% more than in 2014), totaling value of 68.1 million US dollars.

According to rail cargo statistics by Sugar.Ru, Russia (excluding Kaliningrad Region) has imported 132 thousand tons of white sugar by rail for the first half of 2015, all the sugar originates from Belarus. The leader in the structure of exports is Slutsk Sugar Factory (34,900 tons). From the station "Brest Severnaya", located on the border with Poland, total 12,200 tons of sugar was delivered to 28 regions of Russia.
BELARUS
According to the National Statistics Committee of Belarus, the consumer price of sugar rose by 1.6% in June 2015, from the beginning of the year the growth has made 16.8%.
