RUSSIA
Transshipment volume of raw sugar in the Tuapse ICC decreased by 31% in January-June 2015 and has made 0.11 million tons, the press service of the port informs.

According to price monitoring by sugar.ru in the period July 2-9, 2015, the US dollar continued to grow vs. Russian rouble adding finally 3.2% (on July 02 the rate was RUR 55.48/US$ 1; on July 9 – RUR 57.22/US$ 1), and this rally was followed by growing sugar prices. Moscow ruble price of sugar rose by RUR 3.10/kg (+7.77%), Krasnodar price rose by RUR 3.35/kg (+8.77%). US dollar equivalent prices, after overcoming the exchange rate inertia, have joined the uptrend: Moscow sugar price rose by US$ 0.033/kg (+4.59%), Krasnodar price rose by US$ 0.037/kg (+ 5.37%).
UKRAINE
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has allowed Novoorzhitsky sugar factory renting property complex Orzhitsky sugar factory (Poltava region, owned by "Astarta-Kiev").

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the quota for the export of sugar was utilized by 80.6% as of June 30 (out of total 20,070 tons of volume prescribed)
KAZAKHSTAN
Sugar beet was planted at 4000 hectares of land in Almaty region. Next year the acreages should increase to 6-7 thousand hectares, and by year 2020 - up to 10 thousand hectares, Mr. Amandyk Batalov, the head of Zhetysu province, has announced.

According to the Customs Control Committee of Kazakhstan, the country has imported 6 932 tons of sugar confectionery (HS code 1704) in January-May 2015, the volume exported made 2 005 tons.
