RUSSIA

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of May 27, 2019, sowing of sugar beet in Russia was carried out on an area of 1.1 million hectares or 100.8% of the forecast area (in 2018 - 1.1 million hectares).

According to Rosstat data processed by Sugar.Ru, sugar reserves with the wholesale trade fell by 23.17% in April 2019 over the month and amounted to 117342.7 tons (in the previous month - 152726.6 tons, in April 2018 - 163395.9 MT)

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated May 28, 2019, total 21 vessels have been nominated to carry 744994 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018-2019 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 717494 MT from 20 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

KAZAKHSTAN

By May 28, 2019, sowing of sugar beet was performed on an area of 19.6 thousand hectares in Kazakhstan out of the 22.8 thousand hectares planned (in 2018 - 19.4 thousand hectares out of 21.5 thousand hectares), Sugar.ru was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan

BELARUS

Stocks of sugar in Belarus with the industrial enterprises amounted to 165.9 thousand tons as of May 1, 2019, which is 19.2% less than it was as of April 1, 2019. These figures were sounded to Sugar.ru by the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
