RUSSIA
Price for sugar in Moscow was faster to grow than a number of other products during the first week of February (1 – 8); the rise has made 1.4% and today the average consumer price in the city makes RUR 54.88 per kilogram, according to Mosstat.

The Board of Directors of JSC "Chishminsky sugar factory" has discussed the question of evaluation of the enterprise property value and has decided to convene an extraordinary meeting of shareholders as well. Chishminsky sugar factory is part of "Razgulyay" group, the representatives of which had announced in January plans to sell the Bashkir assets.
UKRAINE
According to the Statistical Service of Ukraine the price of sugar from producers increased by 1% in January 2016, while in annual terms (January 2016 to January 2015) the producer price of sugar has grown by 65.3%.
KYRGYZSTAN
The volume of foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan decreased by 24% compared to volume of trade in January-December 2014, including import of sugar and confectionery products dropping 1.5 times, according to the National Statistics Committee.
