RUSSIA
As of October 8, 2020, sugar beets were harvested from 526.3 thousand hectares or 56.7% of the area sown area; bulk harvest makes 18.9 million tons; average yield is 35.95 MT/ha.
UKRAINE
As of October 5, 2020, the average sugar beet yield in Ukraine has reached 44.95 MT/ha. The gross harvest of sugar beets as of the reporting date has made 822.2 thousand tons; the crop was harvested from 8% of the acreage due.
BELARUS
As of October 9, 2020, sugar beet was harvested from 31.1 thousand hectares, or from 37.7% of the sown area (in 2019 - 47.1 thousand hectares), the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus informed Sugar.Ru. Bulk harvest has reached 1400.5 thousand tons (in 2019 - 2196.1 thousand tons); average field yield makes 45.10 MT/ha (in 2019 – 46.59 MT/ha). The sucrose content is 15.96% country average against 16.57% at the same date last year.
